Royal Wine Corporation, a New Jersey-based manufacturer, importer, and distributor of global wines, spirits and liqueurs, hosted a wine press and trade event in cooperation with Vicki Garfinkel Jakubovic of VICKIGJPR at Bison & Bourbon in Park Slope, Brooklyn to celebrate the US launch of Feldstein Winery.

Feldstein Winery, located in the Upper Galilee in Northern Israel, was established in 2010 by Avi Feldstein, a poet, philosopher, and seasoned winemaker with a 35-year record of winemaking excellence. Feldstein Winery specializes in the production of unique, complex, and age-worthy, yet approachable wines crafted from both international and indigenous varietals that thrive in the Upper Galilee terroir. The combination of mineral and volcanic element-rich, limestone-dominant soil, the hot, and dry, sun-drenched summer and cool winter climate, and the verdant mountainous landscape in this area present the optimal conditions for making fresh and elegant, fruit-driven wines.
The Feldstein Winery portfolio consist of white, rose’, and red wines produced from imported French varietals like Roussanne and Grenache Noir, and indigenous Israeli grapes such as Dabouki, a fresh and aromatic native Israeli white grape reminiscent of Sauvignon Blanc.

A crisp and balanced Dabouki, a delicate and floral Grenache Rose’, and an elegant pair of reds including a Cabernet Sauvignon, and “Gilgamesh,” a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache Noir, Carignan, Syrah, Roussanne, and the autochthonous grape Argaman were featured alongside an eclectic array of well-executed fare ranging from baked salmon and sauteed seasonal vegetables, to pastrami and roasted chicken, highlighting the adaptability of these wines as aperitifs and food pairing candidates.

Grenache Rose’
Blend of Grenache Noir, Cinsault, Carignan, and the native Israeli red grape Argaman
A Provence-style rose’ that is crisp, delicate, and light-bodied, with bright acidity, aromas of dark flowers and red berries, and notes of rose petals, strawberries, raspberries, and fresh herbs.
Cabernet Sauvignon
100% Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from vineyards in Dishon Valley and Dawson Plateau
Macerated on the lees for 65 days
Aged 18 months in new French oak barriques.
Full-bodied, with medium acidity and minerality, supple tannins, aromas of dark berries and stone fruit, and dried herbs, and notes of blackberries, plums, pepper, and licorice.
